    Charming Hotel Stay!

The staff was super welcoming as we checked in and the hotel and room were stunning- charming and historic. Loved the big Christmas tree and beautiful high ceilings and stained glass. We walked to Barley Brown’s for a delicious dinner and drinks enjoyed the snowy views and picturesque Main Street of Baker City! Very happy we chose this hotel for our stay!

Perfect hotel for you and your do!

Beautiful restored hotel and very accommodating with our golden retriever. We enjoyed our stay as we headed out on our trip — we booked the same room for our return three weeks later! Great location for walking the pup, excellent restaurants within walking distance with outdoor seating.

    Great location

But a pretty far walk to park. Also no coffee in room or available downstairs. You have to sit at a table and place your order.

    Very dog friendly!

We stayed with our bernedoodle Kona for 1 night in April, and the staff was very welcoming! There was a grassy spot behind the hotel to relieve pets (although you do have to walk around the block to get there), and a nice park to walk in a short walk away. We saw other dogs staying in the hotel too, so definitely dog friendly!

    Great, But Bring Earplugs...

If you like staying in a historic 19th century hotel, this is worth a night’s stay. High ceilings, nice furniture, comfortable beds, VERY clean rooms, and good room service available. A small park is behind the hotel although you have to walk around the block a bit to enter because of extensive fencing. Very dog friendly establishment but bring earplugs because the building’s heating, cooling, & ventilation system was loud in our room and reverberated through the walls a lot. We had a hard time sleeping because of that but otherwise, a great hotel.

    Very Welcoming!

This hotel was the most welcoming one I encountered while traveling from the east to west coast with my yellow lab. Prior to this stay I stayed with Best Western and La Quinta and was pleasantly surprised with these accommodations. The room(s) were spacious and the hotel is very close to the Powder River which allowed you to walk your dog for about 3 miles
