The hotel was okay. Staff were friendly and I was grateful to have found somewhere to bring my dog. But the noises in the hallway made him anxious (not necessarily the hotel’s fault) and I kept waking up in the night because of a strong smell of weed wafting in from somewhere. Probably would look for somewhere else next time, but at least it seemed safe and got the job done.

The hotel was average, my room was a little grubby. the worst part was that the fire alarm went off twice in the night. I heard someone say ‘this happens every week!!’ as we all made our way to the parking lot at 1am. My poor dog was flipping out. I was so annoyed.

Candlewood Suites is a very good low range experience. No frills, but comfortable, clean and friendly. No issue with parking or noise. Plenty of other canine friends.

Pool is nice. The place wqs under construction. Hairdryer didn’t work and lightbulb was missing in lamp. No breakfast included. Safe stop. May be better after remodel.

Made reservations and a $25 pet fee was indicated, but nothing else. Arrive after a long drive and they say we cannot check in without our dogs vaccination records. Huh? My guess was rabies, as this is what you need for a dog license. Nope. Rabies and DHPP AND bordetella. WHAT??? Now I do not travel with my dog's vaccination paperwork (unless going to Canada when rabies is needed and checked). They REQUIRE bordetella. My dog did not even see another dog while there. Thankfully my wife has an app on her phone with the records so we could check in. The room was dirty (stains on the walls and carpets). Then at 9:00 power went out in half the room. Turns out that there is a circuit box in the room, and I was able to reset. It was like a junk hotel in the from the 1950s. Never going there again.

We had a great trip! The hotel is pet friendly and within 20 min to Hershey park! The staff is great super friendly and the hotel is very covid conscious! I would definitely recommend if you are looking for pet friendly. Room also had a fridge, microwave and dishwasher! Indoor pool and hot tub were great as well!!!

Convenient for us with the large suite. Bed was comfortable. We had to drive through a blizzard and freezing rain to get there, so trying not to lower the rating because of that. Major negative was no breakfast. They had some items to purchase, but nothing we would eat. And the coffee was terrible. The pool looked nice, but we were too tired to try it out and there was free washer & dryer.

Very disappointing stay. Thin walls and the guy in the joining room beside us decided to have a 2 hour conversation with someone via speaker phone. Doors slamming all night, people loud in the hallways. Would not stay again.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Gave it 4 bones for 3 reasons. First, it's always nice to get a smile at check-in or at least made to feel welcome. 2) the pet fee was too high 3) although the hotel is fairly new, a lack of maintenance is starting to show. I would still recommend this hotel

Loved it... We’ve found our place. Unfortunately we only stay for a short time as this is a nice breaking point in our drive to VA. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Good size pet area out back with extra bags of needed. Our Betty White and Chewbacca loves it. Very welcoming right when we walked in the door

We had a great experience at this hotel. The room was large with a kitchenette and a dining area. The bathroom was also large and there was a comfortable chair for relaxing. The room was very clean and the bed quite comfortable. Bonus points to this hotel for the super nice gym and free laundry services.
