  Nice place, fairly cozy room

  What can I say - I like Kimpton properties. No pet fee, no size restriction, and very friendly to pets. Rittenhouse Square is two blocks away for some green space. Additional "resort fee" but most of that can be used as credit in the attached restaurant. Lots of other good restaurants in the area. I'd stay here again.

  Premium hotel

  The Kimpton spoils its two-legged and four-legged guests. Wine happy hour and any size dogs. We were welcomed with our two weimaraners, and saw other large dogs. Good restaurant on site and a nice location near Rittenhouse Square for a walk with the dogs.

  Perfect for People with Pets!

  We had such a lovely stay at Kimpton Hotel Palomar! They are so pet friendly and offer so many little things for your pets. From bowls, to beds and even a “barkcuterie” board! The rooms were very clean and the bed was SO comfy! We will definitely be staying here again!

  Unexpected treatment!

  Upon arrival I was told the hotel was shifting to a new computer system and I couldn’t be checked in. Since I was traveling with my dog I was guided to a park two blocks away. That was the only bad experience of my stay (having to wait, not the park). Everything else was wonderful. Was placed in a fantastic corner room. The room itself was great. Social hour was fun and the restaurant had amazing food. The entire staff from valet to restaurant servers were fabulous! Everyone was so accommodating. Recommend highly!

  Pet Friendly

  Hotel was pet friendly. Provided everything that my dog needed. Offered additional services for my pet needs, which I did not use, but it was nice to have if needed. Even though some things were not provided when asked for, the hotel was accommodating and quick to satisfy my pup’s needs.

  Great Location, Room, and Staff

  It can be hard to find a patch of grass in Center City. Stayed at this property ~10 years ago and enjoyed it; it's still a very good place. Two blocks from Rittenhouse Square which is a large park with plenty of grass! Not too crowded and may happy dogs and owners. Enjoyed the Happy Hour and coffee at the hotel. Our room was very nice! Adjacent to Rittenhouse Square is Parc, a delightful French bistro which I will review separately and give 5 bones!

  A lovely spot just steps from Rittenhouse Square, and it truly is dog friendly. Not just like service, a well behaved dog is welcome anywhere.

  Gorgeous, clean, and dog friendly

  Highly recommend the Kimpton- it’s a beautiful hotel, clean, and so dog friendly. We felt so welcomed and comfortable. Not a ton of grassy areas right around it but Rittenhouse park is about a 3 minute walk away, lots of people bring their dogs there for walks and Lila got to meet so many other dogs! It’s an excellent location with tons of Philly’s top restaurants and bars, we barely had to do any planning. And finally, they have complimentary wine at 5 pm every day.

  Great Dog Friendly Place

  We were able to bring our 54 lb husky mix to this hotel. The staff is very pet friendly and I saw multiple other dogs there as well. We really appreciate that there was no pet fee like other places charge. The location is amazing, close to many outdoor restaurants where you can bring your dog. We will definitely be back!

  The Perfect Stay

  Everyone at this hotel was super friendly and loved giving my puppy some extra love. They provided dog bowls and a nice bed. The lobby is dog friendly, and the staff goes out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. Would recommend to everyone - with and without dogs!

  In the heart of the city of love

  Lola loved happy hour and all the new faces to lick. Met a lot of friendly staff and guests. Hotel has great access to museums and restaurants, all within walking distance. Not a ton of grassy areas in this part of the city but close to the Parkway for access to grass and nice long walks.

  Definitely one of the most pet-friendly hotels

  The Palomar is a nice hotel that is made even better by the fact that there are so many dogs in the lobby. Our golden retriever loves the opportunity to meet lots of new friends.

  Great Location

  Easy walk to many sites. We brought a large dog (Golden Retriever), who was welcomed by all. The park was about 3 minutes' walk. Schuylkill Dog park was clean and everyone was friendly--about 15 minutes' walk.

  The hotel had complimentary coffee in the morning and iced water available in the lobby.
  When we arrived they brought us bowls and a dog bed.

  The only downside was that the food at the restaurant was poor, but they did allow our dog at the outdoor seating.
