Description
Camp with your pet in this state park, which offers sand swimming beaches, cedar forests, panoramic water views, and great hiking and cross-country skiing trails. The area is known for its history - it was once the site of a mining community - as well as great fishing and picnicking.

Living in the area, me and the dog walk here many mornings. Very pleasant. Dog beach is sandy and large. The walk around quarry lake is gorgeous, about 3/4 mile. Dogs are not permitted on the human beach, and also some picnic areas.
