Description
Camp with your pet amidst 22,000 acres of wilderness at Kettle Moraine State Forest. The area is known for great horseback riding, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, swimming, and more. It provides access to the Ice Age Trail for exploring the glacial landscape.

We stayed at the Ottawa Lake campground. When I took the dogs to the designated dog swimming area, the majority of dogs did not have leashes on while going to the lake. Kind of a conundrum as leashes may limit swimming while in the lake. There was a sign to indicate where dogs were allowed to swim. Nice area for dogs to be far from the human beach.
