Dogs are allowed in designated areas of Kettle Moraine Northern Campground, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle. Dogs must be attended to at all times. There are no pet fees. For more information on pet restrictions, please call (262) 626-4305.

Description
Camp with your pet at one of the forest campsites at Mauthe Lake. Some sites offer electric hookups, and there is also a tepee for rent. The campground offers flush toilets, hot showers, vault toilets, drinking water, a dump station and recycling station. The park also includes a swimming beach, special pet picnic area, nature trails, a fishing pier, boat launch, watercraft rentals, and concessions.

Yes, dogs are allowed in the campground, and they do have a pet picnic area, but no dogs allowed on the few hiking trails within the park or at the beach. If you camp here, plan on having to leave the park for dog-friendly activities. One bone for dogs allowed in the campground, and one for the pet picnic area. This is a place to spend the night or have a picnic with your pet, but if you expect to do much else, you’ll be disappointed
