This charming cottage sits right over the Damariscotta River, affording serene seclusion right on the water. At high tide the water literally laps the shore under the house. The upstairs is one bedroom with a double bed and closet. The living room couch can be converted to a double bed. Ground floor includes living kitchen and bathroom, opening up onto spacious deck and float. The deck and house look out on several miles of river views with small islands - perfect for rowing (rowboat available upon request) or bring your kayaks. Also within the view is a remnant of old Maine - a real working waterfront, with several fishermen, a couple of yachts, and an aquaculture firm growing oysters. Lobsters and other seafood are available right on the wharf.
