  Great 1st weekend

  The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and it was a walking distance from all of the shops so my kids and pup could tire out.

  Old and loud

  Extremely small pet run for potty spot. Our room was not very clean. Within 2 seconds of being in the room my 5 pound fur baby found a pill that had been dropped and not gotten up. There were crumbs of food everywhere. We spent the next 30 minutes cleaning!!!

  Motel was decrepit. Dog area was filthy. There was no daily room cleaning. Generally a bad stay.

  Downtown views

  They are remodeling the rooms and it is looking good. Could not give 5 bones since the outside was still in bad shape. But it was nice for my dog to have a tiny dog park to roam around.

  Incredibly dirty hotel, don't stay here

  This hotel was disgusting. I had to examine four different rooms before I found one that was even remotely acceptable to stay in with our pet. I would never visit this hotel again, and would pass on this location at all costs. They gave us an excuse of not enough staff, but clearly what staff they had did not know how to clean a room. Very disappointing. If I could give it zero bones I would.

  Walking distance from Downtown Helen. It was a very nice bedroom and very clean.

  Checked Out Early

  The room smelled like dog and bed smelled like urine. There were bugs included those that flew out of the coffee maker when we opened it up to find an old coffee filter. There were also people talking on the bench outside our room half the night which caused us all not to be able to sleep (also the urine smelling bed prevented us from sleeping). We checked out after the first night but received no refund or contact from management as promised.

  Warning: Bed Bugs

  The stay was OK with the exception of towel holder falling off wall and a severe case of bed bugs that my daughter is still trying to overcome after 2 weeks. We were in town for Thanksgiving and rented 3 rooms. My daughters room was reeking of bleach when we first got there but we just assumed that it was due to disinfecting for the Covid virus. We stayed one night. When she got home the next night she had about bites 8 bites on her back that itchyed severly and after two weeks are sores the size of dimes that still trying to heal. She will be left with several scares. I have tried to download pictures but this website won't let me. I am going to look in to how I can report this hotel.

  It was okay.

  It was okay. Nothing special. They have a nice fenced dog run around the back of the hotel. Not much in the way of breakfast, this was probably Covid related. No pet fees was a big thing and the location was great.

  Room was okay but very dated. Smelled clean however the hard surfaces where cloudy with some form of residue. The base boards were covered with dust. Around the backside of the building was a small dog park. It was not maintained. The grass was very high. And there was garbage littered through out the pet area, along with dog poop everywhere and the pet trash was over flowing. (We had to bathe our dog afterward because the pet area made him smell horrendous) We originally booked two nights and left a day early. Even the trash cans throughout the exterior of the building were over flowed. The exterior halls were covered in gross stains, spills and trash. You can tell the workers do not take pride in the motel. Never again....

  Clean, basic rooms. They have a small dog area by the pool. Easy to walk into town.

  Bugs

  Killed several bugs. Bed squeaked terribly thus hard for wife to sleep. Very small. Bathroom. Dingy room. Basically a dump. Based on my research only hotel in the town that allows dogs & this may explain why we saw very few other dogs in the town. Anyone with Knowledge & a dog would not stay in this town.

  Great location.

  The room was clean and comfortable. Everyone was friendly to our fur babies. The dog park is small but we were the only ones there so it was perfect for us. Our babies enjoyed their stay.

  Great Location And Super Dog Friendly

  We checked in super late and the staff was so friendly. Getting to our room was easy, and it was very clean. The small dog park was a welcome surprise and was great for our puppy. The rates were reasonable, and they don’t charge an extra per fee. However you can only have one pet.

  Very Clean and Dog Friendly

  The room couldn't be cleaner. The dog park was small, but it was at least available. This hotel is 0.5 miles from the main area of Helen, so it is very walkable. I just wish there was a sidewalk to the road from the hotle, but at the same time people in Helen drive a lot slower and safer. So NO COMPLAINTS!
