    Great Location-gross hotel

Hotel lobby is okay it self. The dog floor not so much. The dog floor is on the 16th floor. You have to rush your dog to the elevator down 16 floors across a big lobby out another flight of steps to a dirty fake grass 4X4 small outside dog relief area. The dog floor rooms are so gross. They do not clean them or repair them well. Completely out dated and NOT worth what you pay. The rooms are quiet but the rooms itself are gross. The hallways have original carpets that are in need of removal. Dogs pee everywhere because other dogs released themselves due to them being way too far to the outside of the hotel. They really need to rethink having dogs (1) stay on the 16th floor so far away from the dog relief station (2) having guests stay in out dated gross rooms like this. Don't expect them to have a dog welcome pack, dog cages or luggage carts as they advertise. If you don't like the conditions of your room you are out of luck. Friendly dog hotel means they like dogs but they don't treat dogs and their humans with care. Pros: Rooms semi quiet and dogs are allowed to stay. Cons: Dog floor is an unbelievable distance from dog relief area. They do not provide cages or welcome bags. The dog relief area is outdated, gross and gate is broken. The rooms are filthy and out dated.

    Decent Vegas strip stay

The room we were in was facing the Linq ferris wheel on the 17th floor. The room was nice for $35. there is also a resort fee of $35 and the pet fee is $85 (as of 11/2017).

One of the reading lights was dangling off the wall and one of the night stand drawers didn't close properly. The carpets desperately needed to be shampooed or removed, you could tell they've had many dogs come through and relieve themselves in the room. The description above reads " In-room amenities for pets include a mat, food and water dishes, disposable waste bags and dog treats. There is also a special outdoor relief area for pets, dog walking routes, and a pet room service menu." but none of that was true, in our experience, other than the outdoor relief area.

The outdoor relief area, by the way, is across the street from the valet area. The signage is confusing, and it is a small area. Dogs smaller than ~40lbs may be able to fit through the bars, so use caution in off-leash potty time. They do, however, have the dog friendly rooms as close to the relief area as possible.

For being on the strip in Vegas, it was cheap. The beds were clean and comfortable. All in all, it was a positive experience.
