- MatthewApr 4, 2022Location was ok but unclear pet policy
The staff were nice but the pet policy was a bit unclear. We were told that it was a pet friendly hotel, but signs all over the hotel said otherwise. Signs on the floor we were on and in the elevator read, "This hotel/ area is Pet and Smoke free" or "no pets allowed". Maybe we were placed in a pet free area by mistake but we did tell the front desk we had a dog at check in. The room was clean on first glance but we started noticing things wrong after about an hour or two. Also we booked a smoke-free room but the hallway and room we stayed in reeked of smoke. There are grassy areas around the hotel but no designated pet relief area that we could see. If you are looking for a pet friendly hotel near Joint Base Andrews, I would suggest skipping this one.
