We were confused as to there was no one at the reception area whe you first walk in the lobby. It almost looked like no one was working at the hotel. Very short staffed. Little did we know you have to go to the 2nd floor to check in. Room had all the bare necessities. Could need a little bathroom and carpet update. Also, if you have an anxious dog, the walls are paper thin so just be cautious. Overall, we will most likely stay here again if we're in the area because there is an nice park across the street and enough grassy area for my pup.

We reserved one of the large corner rooms so Ellie would have room to roam and play. Unfortunately they knew nothing about the bandana that the "Pet Concierge" was supposed to have for Ellie. Definitely the bare necessities but it worked. Only in town to take Ellie to NC State Veterinary School/Hospital. Wish there was a coffee maker in the room. Comfortable beds and pillows. Great night's sleep 😴

Really enjoyed the stay here. Staff loves seeing all of the animals. No Pet fee. Nice hotel all together, rooms are great. Easy to take the dogs around different areas.

Our experience was similar to the other reviewer - there were no "extras" for the dog. That being said, if you have a nice hotel and you don't charge an extra fee, I'm happy. They did allow our dog to roam around the lobby area and the people at the front desk were very friendly towards the dog.
The hotel is in a nice pedestrian friendly area so it is easy to take the dog out for a walk.
They told us no dogs in the pool but the pool deck was allowed (though it was too cold to spend time there).
