Love this dog-friendly hotel
Kimpton Brice Hotel an IHG HotelWe love the whole vibe of this hotel. It's cozy and charming. Super dog friendly. There is a park across the street perfect for walking the dog. The receptionist can't be any more patient and helpful (we are staying on a very busy July 4th weekend). Although the room is small, it's enough for a family of 3 and a 30 lb pup. Would definitely stay here again.
Swanky hotel BUT
AC Hotel by Marriott Washington DC DowntownChose this hotel for its location and other reviews of it being clean (our toilet bathroom wasn't the case). We liked that it was modern and comfy beds (although the comforters were just ok) and the fact that the walls aren't paper thin. The downside of this hotel is that if you have dog like mine who will only do her business in grassy outdoor area, there was not a patch of grass or a little park in sight to walk her around so it made her really edgy.
Great location
Aloft RaleighWe were confused as to there was no one at the reception area whe you first walk in the lobby. It almost looked like no one was working at the hotel. Very short staffed. Little did we know you have to go to the 2nd floor to check in. Room had all the bare necessities. Could need a little bathroom and carpet update. Also, if you have an anxious dog, the walls are paper thin so just be cautious. Overall, we will most likely stay here again if we're in the area because there is an nice park across the street and enough grassy area for my pup.
