From check in to check out this is the best place. I would stay here even if I didn't bring my dog. Rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. High quality toiletries too! Dogs are allowed most places and even have their own fenced in area.

Dogs had their own hotel building to stay with their parents. There was a runner for them, and a dog wash station.

This hotel was one of the best ewe have stayed at. There was a memory foam dog bed, blanket, water and food dish. There was also a bag with treats and a tennis ball. They had a fenced in dog park and a dog wash. We humans were treated well also. This is our go to hotel in Door County from now on.

Great dog friendly hotel! They think of everything from a dog goodie bag containing treats, tennis ball and poop bags. Also provide food and water bowls, bed and blanket. There is a nice enclosed dog play area and room for walks. The grounds are very pretty and guest can enjoy a fire pit in the evenings. Our room was was spacious, very clean and comfortable!

This was our first time bringing our pup with us on a trip. The hotel staff was SO nice! We got to our room and there was a little welcome basket for our pup. A bed, her own sheets, water and food bowls, and a little goodie bag with treats and a toy! They even built a "dog park" area where the dogs could safely run around unleashed. There was also a dog wash station on the first floor, although we did not use it. Dogs were welcome everywhere on site (besides pool and breakfast area), including the outdoor patio that had a great bonfire pit at night. Would definitely recommend!

The hotel was great for my dog. There was a place for him to run and do his thing. They had a bed, bowls and a dog wash.

We spent three nights here and it was the perfect place for lots of kids and pups. They were very dog friendly and had lots of space for them to run and burn energy.

We stayed here with our two Goldens, the new wing is for folks traveling with dogs. Only drawback was an older couple complained about our 8 month old barking too much. Come to find out this couple did not have pets and were erroneously put in the dog wing. They complained about any and all noise, the man was very rude to me, as my husband had to cut our dinner short and run to the hotel to make sure our pups were okay, after the front desk called me about the complaint. I love Open Hearth, always have a great stay, that was the only issue. Please do not put non-dog owners in a dog wing. Simple fix..

We’ve stayed at Open Hearth Lodge with our pups for the past few years during our visits to Door County and it I always a great experience! They provide dog friendly rooms with towels, bowls, treats, and a list of dog friendly local businesses! Enjoyed the outdoor campfire and nice grounds to walk the pups on! Always a good stay!
