The Waldo Emerson Inn
The Waldo Emerson Inn welcomes dogs of any size for an additional fee of $40 per pet, per night. The pet-friendly rooms are Ralph’s Library and Waldo’s Retreat, each with access to the inn by the keeping room door. Dogs are not allowed in the main house and should be taken with you whenever you leave the property unless dog-sitting arrangements have been made in advance. Please be advised that you are responsible for any damages caused by your pet. Please note that Sloan, a 6 lb Yorkshire Terrier with a Great Dane personality, lives on the property. There is a leash law in Kennebunk, and dogs are not allowed on the beaches after 9am.

Safe Stay: The Waldo Emerson Inn has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay. Social distancing measures are in place, and contactless check-in and check-out are available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.
