The hotel was very nice and up to date. The room was very clean. My pups felt very welcomed.

    Great experience

I really like this hotel. My room was clean and it was cozy. The staff is great. Helpful and friendly. I was on the second floor next to a set of stairs (wide, carpeted,) so it was very easy to get my dogs outside. There’s a lot of green space all around the hotel. I’ll definitely stay here again. And it was actually my second stay.

    Great Location

Check-in was smooth & very welcoming. Booked me into a great room on first floor close to area for dogs to roam, and close to good restaurants. One of the very best I have found.

    Not very accessible

I am writing this review from the perspective of an adult with a physical disability that limits mobility and causes intense pain. Traveling across the country for the second time in a week to complete an out of state move, I had originally made reservations for 2 adults and 3 dogs. Unfortunately, the person who assists me had to cancel and so I am making this leg of the trip on my own. Knowing what that can mean, I called ahead to the hotel to ask for an accessible room and was told that my room was accessible so I checked in without a second thought.

The first thing to be aware of is that the front of the property is sloped including the loading area. I made quite a spectacle of myself trying to keep the cart and my rollator walker from rolling away as I tried to unload. I was so miserable, I started to cry and I was already perspiring from the hard work and the pain. Multiple people tried to help, but even at 11pm, the check-in area was complete chaos. I went to the desk for help five separate times, but never saw the woman who checked me in again. After three trips back and forth, I parked my car in an accessible space and, you guessed it, walked back up a fairly long and steep slope.

Between the pain this caused and my worries about doing it all in reverse in the morning, I slept about 2 hours after driving for 11. In the morning, I could barely move. It took me twice the usual time to get ready because of the excruciating pain and because the room was not accessible. There was a hold bar in the shower. That was it. I had already “run” downstairs for my shower chair. I explained to the person at the front desk I would need more time and she offered me an extra half hour. I explained I wouldn’t be able to comply and apologized.

Then housekeeping started knocking every 5 minutes. By the time I was dressed (I could barely open the extremely heavy door) and had taken my dogs and a few things downstairs that I had stacked on my walker, I fell apart. I called the front desk to ask for help. This woman kindly ran upstairs and brought down my suitcase. By this time, I was crying again out of frustration and pain. Be aware that this facility maybe completely inaccessible to you, depending on your level of need. The least one should expect from a hotel is that you depart feeling refreshed. I left feeling exhausted, emotionally drained and angry.

    Very friendly

I encountered at least 5 staff members. They were all very friendly to us and our dogs. We got freshly laundered dog beds at check-in. There was a big field for running behind the hotel. Poop bags were provided at the back door. The surrounding area had lots of restaurant options for take-out. The free breakfast was standard hotel free breakfast.

    As expected

No fuzz about having pets. Large area behind the hotel that can be used for dogs to go potty.

    As Good As It Gets

This is our favorite "dog friendly" hotel. Stayed here twice, both experiences were great. New, clean, very friendly staff, spacious well-appointed rooms, small exercise room & pool, nice breakfast area with a dozen or so tables - standard food for this type of traveler's motel. Adequate grass in front of the 4 story building for our dog, but no real place to run &: exercise. And there are no pet fees. Places that charge $100 for a pet are pet resistant, not pet friendly! We like this place and stay here when ever we're out this way.
