We were driving through on a cross country road trip and decided to stay here based on these reviews. Unfortunately, our stay seemed to be an outlier.
Pros: The man at the front desk was very nice. He’s the only reason I’m not giving one bone. I hate to give him two bones. The bathroom was also fairly clean - at least relative to the room. We were also able to park about 3 steps from our door, which was great for transporting our cats. There is a small gated area for pet relief. It’s a pro for my dog because she doesn’t mind rocks or dirt, but if your dog needs grass, do not stay here. There is no grass nearby.
Cons: The floor was obviously not vacuumed. There was rice scattered on the floor and clumps of fur about the size of my cat that were only partially obscured by furniture. Luckily we travel with a hand vacuum (to clean our cats’ litter if it spills), so we vacuumed the floor ourselves, and filled the vacuum. The drawers in the side table contained someone’s dirty socks. The bed skirt was covered in stains.
Overall, I would recommend spending the $40 extra for a different hotel. I would absolutely not stay here again.

We would have given this a 5 but there wasn't grass for the dog (he is used to doing his business on grass). The room was very comfortable and Laramie is a quaint town. We are planning another trip next year and will plan to stay here again. No frills but all we needed!

Nice little place. Comfortable and clean. Nothing fancy but it worked well for me and my dogs. If you're looking for an inexpensive place with no frills, this is it.

The Travel Inn is quirky and old, but it’s clean and the staff are nice.

We arrived without a reservation on a Saturday night and they rearranged rooms to squeeze us in. The hotel has a very good vintage feel and is being renovated piecemeal. So it's quirky and funky, comfy and functional.
Best of all, the staff were accommodating about our dog - an active and antsy Brittany - and recommended some good options for how to enjoy our time.
