This location is also four miles from Lodi Lake Park, eight miles from Pollardville Ghost Town, 35 miles from Stockton's Asparagus Festival, 50 miles from Old Sacramento, and 120 miles from Yosemite National Park. Hotel amenities include the seasonal outdoor pool, spa, barbecue pit, and complimentary continental breakfast.       Ok for access to fairgrounds

      I didn’t fully research ahead and picked the lodging purely based on distance to the fairgrounds and turned out to be a mistake. There looks to be residents staying long term and nights are very noisy (Friday and Saturday) between residents chilling on the walkway between rooms and the karaoke/restaurant next door. The rooms are old and very budget: the sink drain barely worked, the dead bolt on the door didn’t turn, the bed was uncomfortable and sloped terribly, and my third morning I found a roach the size of my thumb in the bathtub. The pool on the property also appeared very dirty. The day I arrived the motel was fully booked so I couldn’t switch rooms (for drain and dead bolt issues). The only other plus is ease of getting on Hwy 99. I won’t be returning. In contrast the Hampton Inn about 5 min away seems like a total luxury then.

      Quiet, clean room but not again

      Housekeepers do a good job. Sketchy area, esp if solo. Chop shop (auto) in back with groups of guys hanging out until late at night. Busy street, homeless on the sidewalk. No place at all to walk dog after dark w exception of 10x8 grass area near ck in door. Overpriced. Manager was friendly at late check in but couldn't help with where to walk a dog. "Maybe next to the pool?..." AC worked but took 3 hrs to cool down the room. For almost $200, I expected more.

      Dog Friendly Hotel

      We had trouble finding a last minute hotel that’s dog friendly in the Sacramento area. So thank you very much to this Econolodge for giving us a room. There is a little grassy landscaping to get the job done, but it’s not like they cater to dogs here. It’s just good to know of places you can rest with your dog.
