Walk everywhere! This park made a great weekend trip to Florence. The waterfront site was well worth it :)

When you’re downtown there isn’t anywhere to let your dog off leash except here. It’s just a basic little dog park, but it’s surrounded by palm trees and a view of the bay. there is a water fountain, and a duty bag station with garbage. it’s raked daily. just a nice clean place located in a beautiful city park.

This was such a fun day for our whole family. There’s lots of space to find a place to play without other people around. The photos are beautiful. My dog seemed to think the white sand was snow at first and kept trying to take a bite of it🤣

These rooms are so much nicer than expected from the outside. Big rooms with nice furniture. There’s a large grass yard in the middle of the property. The $20/night dog fee is not a problem considering the room was only $70/night for such a nice space. Even included breakfast. Thanks Best Western!

I can not thank this hotel enough for accommodating us and our 2 furry-children during a historic winter storm. The staff is lovely, and their customer service is above and beyond. They even text me throughout our stay to ensure we are comfortable. We happily paid their dog fee of $30/night or max of $150/week. The hotel is right across the street from the marina and a grassy city park and also a short walk to a dog park. All the rooms have marina views. The breakfast is hot and better than all the other hotels on our journey. We are just so grateful.
Side note - people PLEASE PLEASE quit abusing this hotel and clean up behind your dogs! Allowing your dog is a huge courtesy and I’ve seen too many people leaving their dog-poo and just walk away. Please be responsible and respectful or we will all loose this privilege!

The staff is lovely. the building is old but they are remodeling right now too. the room was outdated but clean in the important parts, and the price does reflect this. no dog fee is great, yet they did charge a $50 deposit that is it’s refunded after your good dogs check out. but hey Fido people - quit abusing this hotel and pick up your dog poo! the potty area is full of irresponsibility from others. PLEASE clean up behind your dog or the hotels will quit letting us bring our furry children! thx :)

my dogs are not small and we stayed here. the room was very nice. the price was good too. and there is an indoor pool.

This place has it all, and the dogs love it here. campsites are spaced apart, it’s very treed, the lake is huge, it’s calm and quiet too. Low price for full hookups. big wide well kept trails. this place checks all the boxes for us. thanks!!

there’s are separate patio for dogs and their people. the fish and chips are excellent. it’s a salty bar right on the beach.

Beautiful grounds at this park. Good fencing, large area, very trees, separate spaces for big and little dogs. there is an auto water bowl, there was also a kiddie pool and hose when we were there. Really happy to find this park.

it’s pretty small, and it’s just a basic fenced yard. 2 yards.

It’s hit and miss if this beach is crowded or not. there’s lots of people with dogs. should be leashed. there’s garbage cans all over. keep it clean please!

it’s located on the deck in a marina. beautiful sunset views. fish tacos and shrimp tacos were excellent. they brought our dogs a bowl of water. excellent! thank you!

As far as an “on leash” area goes this is pretty standard. But if you want to go off leash go waaaaaay down the beach and find some privacy outside of the park.

There was a good amount of space between campsites. The modest lake was loved by my dogs. It’s clean and well maintained. Town is a few minutes away. We had a nice stay for a couple nights.

Traveling with 2 big dogs isn’t always easy, but this hotel ended up being a great option for us for a couple nights. Good price too.

What a fun surprise! We just had to stop for the night while driving through the desert. (but then ended up staying 2 nights!) What an oasis! For hundreds of miles all the hotels are about the same basic budget hotels. You just have to stop somewhere that’s seemingly less desirable than your end destination. STOP HERE! Highly recommend. Such a nice quality memory foam mattress, dog friendly (outside the atrium) and plenty of grass and trees. The neighborhood is not much to look at but the streets were very safe for walking.

Big open and grassy dog park. well fenced. there was only 1 other dog when we found this park along our travels.

Skip Woodland if you have a dog. Definitely skip this hotel all the time. We struggled to find a dog friendly hotel last minute, and ended up here momentarily. We took one look at the room here and then left. Too gross for dogs. And still waiting on that refund from management...

We had trouble finding a last minute hotel that’s dog friendly in the Sacramento area. So thank you very much to this Econolodge for giving us a room. There is a little grassy landscaping to get the job done, but it’s not like they cater to dogs here. It’s just good to know of places you can rest with your dog.

Dogs are not allowed on trails, but you can use Walker road and it’s still a fantastic experience. It’s an easy walk through a gorgeous redwood forest and it ends at a river. off season we had the place to ourselves!

We stopped here for a night and were pleasantly surprised. Felt like we had most of the park to ourselves, there is a beautiful walking path, river, a beach, showering bathroom and laundry facilities. very nice!

Million dollar views from every room! The “rooms” are actually apartments with kitchens stocked with the basics. All amenities, all clean, the hotel has private stairs leading directly to a dog friends beach. They provide a feet washing station and dog relief area. It’s the perfect Oregon coast experience, with or without a dog. Salty, nostalgic, quaint, friendly. WestShore has been a family favorite for 30 years. Thank you!
