    Doesn’t have good pet relief area

    La Quinta LAX is surrounded by pavement/sidewalks with no grassy or shaded areas for pet relief. And people let their dogs poop in the middle of the sidewalk and don’t pick it up. Yuk. Apparently the hotel and Starbucks clean it up overnight. The best place to walk your dog is early in the morning on the sidewalk next to landscaping in front of Starbucks.

    Fine for an overnight

    We stayed here on two separate occasions. First time was in a non-renovated room, abysmal, the second time was in a newly renovated room, much better! The reception staff were strictly business, not a warm and friendly welcoming bunch, but check in was easy and quick. Sadly, there is only a strip of dirt and bushes in the back of the hotel where fur babies can do their business. I booked our first stay with BringFido and our second stay on our own. Saved $35 by booking on our own.......go figure. Lesson learned just call the hotel and booked it yourself.

    Not Recomend..

    This hotel takes pet fees, which in and of itself is not bad, but they advertise as ‘no pet fee.’ They also charge parking fee per night. There are better options for a comparable prices. Go somewhere else.

    No area for dog to potty

    Terrible and frustrating customer service! After driving a cross country, unpacking for a 5 night stay, we were awakened from our nap to be told that we had to move rooms because I was put into one of their newly renovated rooms and they weren't allowing dogs in them yet. I had messaged the hotel a week before my arrival to let them know that I would be bringing my dog. I checked in and told them once again that I had my dog with me and even filled out a pet agreement. After such a long trip and being unpacked and settled I didn't think we should have to move rooms because of their mistake. This hotel is not dog friendly. They don't even have a dog friendly area for your pet to potty. I have stayed at many La Quintas because of their dog friendly policy and have never had such an awful experience.
