  Great location!

  This place was a little loud with college kids but it didn’t really bother us. It was clean, the breakfast was pretty good, and the location was great! The gal at the front desk was very nice. She gave us a
  recommendation for the Mexican restaurant right next door, and it was awesome! It is in fact dog friendly with a few grassy spots in the back and the lot is well lit. A very safe comfortable area to stay.

  Clean and nice hotel

  Only issue was not a good place to walk dogs. We only had an icy driveway/parking lot to walk in. There was no grassy area near the hotel.

  Very clean

  Check-in went smoothly. Air conditioner kept the room nice and cool while it was very hot outside. Conveniently located next to a very authentic Mexican restaurant.

  Very nice hotel

  It’s a great hotel. They doubled the pet fee and wouldn’t change it when asked. I then went to get my tablet and show them my receipt and that person knew what the pet fee was supposed to be. She thought she changed it but the price stayed the same. She tried again and I got a reduction in pet fees.

  Overnight stop

  We needed to stay the night in our drive from Iowa to California with our two dogs. Hotel staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean. A great resting stop.

  Great stay!

  The front desk was excellent, the service was great, the price was right and the room was lovely. One of the better La Quinta's we have stayed in. We will definitely be back. There were good places to walk our dog and good places to eat nearby, as well as the hot springs and vapor caves within walking distance!

  Decent Hotel

  The hotel was good. The rooms were nice and comfortable, but there isn’t a lot of grass on property for dogs. You can hear the noise from the highway very easily, which might be an issue for some people and pups, as well, but our experience was fine.

  Kinda dog friendly

  Clean updated rooms. Very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Convenient location with ample parking. No grassy area but there are bags provided. Noisy from other guests, dogs howling, and the highway. deadbolt lock broken in my room. Shower head could work better.

  Good experience.

  Hotel is near a main road, but it was good for us. First floor (told those were mainly for pets) and the room was clean. Shower water pressure was good, AC worked well. We were there for a few days and skipped room cleaning, my choice. Walking distance to all the things needed. Employees I dealt with were nice and helpful.

  Very Impressed even without a grassy dog area

  This hotel exceeded my expectations. I’ve only stayed in two other dog friendly hotels and both were over priced and ragged (even nasty). This hotel is as nice as pictured. Beds are comfortable. The fridge does make a gurgling noise but it’s not loud and more like white noise. Conveniently located. (Dislike roundabout used to get to hotel but that’s not the hotels issue.) Granted there’s no grass but I didn’t notice any pets not being able to relieve themselves. ;)

  Great Except Parking was difficult

  The parking lot is confusing and I was worried the car would get towed because of the way the signs were setup. Nothing happened tho. Just try to arrive early and don’t leave.

  Nice Hotel.

  Although the hotel was nice, it was not as “pet friendly “ as some of the other hotels we have stayed in. No treat bag (always a nice touch). No grassy area that we could find (once there was 5-6 inches of snow, it was hard to tell). There was plenty of room, very relaxing and quiet. Had a great visit.

  Fantastic staff

  The people who work at this location are great. It wasn’t a super wonderful location for dogs. No where to really do business. But it’s nice to have a place that will allow dogs in an awesome location. Ask for the hot springs coupon at the front desk.

  Great location and accommodations. The only potty spot is river rock and two of my dogs wouldn’t use it.

  Nice Hotel Just Not Very Dog Friendly

  We stayed in this hotel for two nights. Overall the rooms were very nice, newly remodeled, refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was ok, good selection but not “hot’” more luke warm. They have you sign a paper saying you won’t leave your dog, but it clarifies that you can leave them and go to the pool/breakfast area. We left off and on all day with no issues.

  Now onto why we are all here. This location is in a great area, but there’s no where for your pup to do their business. We had to cross the busy street to find any grass. My dog is small and wanted nothing to do with the rocked area around the building. Pet fee was okay $20 a night with a $40 max per stay.
