  We booked our stay very last minute and they were very accommodating. Hotel was under construction but our pooch was welcomed as one of the family.

  Thanksgiving in Ottawa!

  Nice and spacious room, so we can enjoy the stay and leave the pet pen ready for quiet time and sleep.

  Nice hotel

  It was a very nice place to stay. Staff was super helpful. Downtown on any large city is somewhat awkward with a dog. Finding grassy areas or parks is at issue here. There’s nothing. Parking is valet and it’s just a trudge to get the car, take pooch to the park or go to a restaurant or whatever. It’s not the hotel’s fault; it just is what it is. We just had a different routine while here.

  Currency issue

  It was not obvious what currency the hotel was charged in. The only currency denomination visible on the web page was CD as I was booking a room in Ottawa Canada. There was no reason to question that the hotel room was also not in Canadian dollars. Also when I received my conformation email it did not indicate what the currency denomination was. However, when my visa was charged it was significantly higher than what was indicated and upon investigating with BringFido that the website was US dollars and you have to click a tiny link at the bottom of the last page to find that out.

  Very dog friendly hotel

  We had an amazing night at Sheraton, they had poop bag and gamelle for us upon request since we were in transit and they were all dog friendly! Didn’t seems to have anything bothering them about our big Pyrénées
