      Everyone was friendly, staff and guests alike. Definitely visit if you're in the area!

      Very poor conditions

      Our hotel room was dingy and had black mold and an old musty moldy smell. I’m not sure it was safe. This room was the REPLACEMENT for our original room which had soaking wet carpet and also an overwhelming mold/mildew smell. This was 2 bad rooms on two different floors. The hotel does not appear to be properly maintained. A couple of the employees were nice and responsive, however most were dismissive and rude. Worst experience at a hotel since I can remember.

      Near the park

      Staff were very dog friendly. Millennium Park is 2 blocks away. Palmer House is a lovely historic hotel. We had a large room with 2 baths that had originally been 2 singles. Very centrally located near the Art Institute.
