I can't say enough wonderful things about the Avalon in Palm Springs. If you want a dog-friendly spot, this is it. Dogs are welcome to join you at the restaurant or by the pool where you can get a puppy patty or chicken breast or treat for your pup. Big plush dog beds and food and water bowls for your room and plenty of grassy areas right on property. Fantastic, friendly, welcoming staff for human and doggie guests.

Loved being able to do a tour of architectural and famous homes around Palm Springs with my pup. There was a mid-point stop for a drink and snack at a dog-friendly restaurant too!

They've put a lot of thought into making this a beautiful spot to drink & dine with your pup. Dogs are allowed on the patio as well as in the atrium for when it's not patio weather. Note that it is not full service - you order at the bar and then get your own drinks, silverware, etc and find a spot. Servings were generous and there's a dog menu too.

This place is absolutely worth the wait (and expect a wait, especially on weekends). There's a small front patio and two more down a little path where you have french bistro vibes with lots of plants and umbrellas for shade. The service from the entire team was fantastic.

We visited on a VERY wet and cold weekend in December. We were just going to grab coffee to go but they said we were welcome to dine indoors with our small pup. They even have a little doggie food dispenser on the wall if you want to get your pup a snack. Everyone was friendly and the biscuits with homemade jam were enough to be a meal by themselves!

It's great to have a covered spot to dine outdoors and people-watch. Service was great and the award winning crab cake is a must!

While in town in for a weekend in December we came here twice because the service is outstanding, the Crab Stew is unbelievable and the ambiance can't be beat. Cozied up by the fire in the tavern. Miss Martha even keeps dog treats behind the bar to spoil the lucky visitors.

We rented a Pontoon to putter around Mission Bay on Labor Day Weekend. The website was a little confusing about which boats allow dogs but with a quick call I verified we could rent a pontoon and bring our pup. She was happy to smell all the fresh air and water smells and we enjoyed a 2 hour cruise on the water. Would highly recommend and do again!

Such a cool spot to hang with your pup. This outdoor space overlooks the cliff where gliders take off at Torrey Pines over the Pacific. Walk up window offers a full bar, sandwiches, salads, wraps, etc. Grab a picnic table or spot on the rail and take in the amazing views. Water bowls for pups available and lots of grassy space if they need a little break. 100% recommend and will return!

Enjoyed a lovely lunch on the patio (although the bartender told us the entire place, upstairs and down is dog friendly). They have a dog menu and are quick to bring water for the many pups enjoying the weather and views.

It's so nice to be able to bring your pup with you to enjoy the amazing views & beach breeze here.

Get your pup a treat like a doggy burger or pup cup while you enjoy a snack or cold beer on the beach. Dogs can be off leash to make friends. There's agility equipment and often a DJ. Doesn't get more dog friendly than Monty's!

Hosts, Server and Manager (Owner?) all stopped to say hi to my pup. I got her a side of steak and they were helpful in making sure it didn't have any seasoning or marinade to be pup-safe to eat. Human food was outstanding and service from everyone was very friendly.

Watch the surfers across the street while you sip craft cocktails & enjoy delicious eats. Pup menu for the furry friends. They also often host dog friendly events (paint your pup, adoption events, etc). We love visiting this spot!

Everyone was friendly, staff and guests alike. Definitely visit if you're in the area!

We received a little welcome kit at check-in with treats, a mat & doggie pickup bags. The staff gave genuine greetings every time we walked by and my pup was welcome to join us for drinks & snacks in the lobby bar. There is a park-like courtyard directly across from the entrance (no grass this time of year but plenty of bark/large planters). There's also an off-leash dog park about a block away. Definitely made for a great stay in the city.

Very friendly staff when we came by for a holiday afternoon. Enjoyed drinks at the bar and ordered a side of chicken for the pup. They brought it out all cut up in a to-go box to make it easy. Hope to have the chance to return!

Anyplace that has a dog menu is at the top of our dog-friendly destinations! She enjoyed the Surf & T-arf with chicken, bacon, salmon, spinach, potatoes & peas....well she enjoyed the chicken, bacon and salmon and picked around the veggies ;)
Pups are welcome here and you'll often find more than one. They have dog treats for the pups while they pour for the humans :)

Offered us indoor or outdoor seating. Opted for outdoor and got a burger for the pup from the doggie menu. Great service and perfect spot for people and pup watching along Ocean.

The staff was so helpful letting us know all the dog-friendly options on the properties. Lots of pup-friendly patios and trails to explore. Grabbed a seat and a drink to take in the evening bagpiper.

Dined with my pup June 2023. They gave us a cozy table next to the fireplace with a menu for humans and a menu for pups. Got her the grilled tilapia which was a generous portion leaving leftovers to top her meals the next day. Friendly staff, beautiful setting. Get the artichoke soup!
This was the highlight of our visit to Carmel. Did the e-bike sidecar tour with Marci as our guide. Got a perfect lay of the land with history and info we wouldn't have known otherwise. If you're in the area, do it!

The valet, upon opening the door and seeing a pup said "Welcome to the world's most dog friendly hotel." And it is. Everyone welcomes your pup with smiles and scratches and they're welcome to join you all throughout the hotel.

Great spot for street tacos & beer. Pups are allowed inside as well as on the covered patio. Got our pup a little side of steak & she was happy!

The gardens are beautiful and fun to be able to watch the locks in action with your four-footed friend.

Emailed to ask if they had covered pup-friendly patio seating. Received a quick response that not only was it covered but heated (because...it's Seattle...in April). We had a warm welcome and friendly service. Very much appreciated an upscale dining option when traveling with my pup.

super friendly staff. you order at the bar and they welcomed us in to place our order before heading to the patio.
Dogs are welcome both indoors and on the patio which makes it an awesome option when it's too hot to be outside. Huge beer selection, along with some wines. Frequently hosting food trucks. Great space - we enjoyed and the pup got lots of pets!

Dog treats to greet you at the entrance, dog water bowls and dog burgers (chicken or beef) available. Great menu and very dog friendly

beautiful cruise around lake union on this 2 story boat. downstairs is indoors and covered. upstairs is open air. dogs had a blast and got lots of pets. human ice cream and frosty paws on board!

The patio here is part of a large courtyard in a plaza with a few restaurants and shops. Lots of space with quite a few tables. It was a little warm when we visited and while they have misters they were not on. Great menu with variety and friendly service from Christian.

I called ahead to see if they had heaters on their dog-friendly patio. They said it was too cold to use the patio even with heaters but would be happy to seat us indoors with our pup. They made our reservation and when we arrived they had a lovely large booth in a corner (out of the way of anyone walking around). It was perfect and the food was outstanding.

We visited Prescott to take in the Christmas lights & sights and wanted to find a dog-friendly place to have a drink & bite. Since it was December and below 40, finding someplace indoors was such a bonus. The lobby was the perfect place to grab a cocktail by the fireplace and warm up all are fingers and paws. The staff was so friendly and brought over little dog treats for us, even though we weren't hotel guests. We met lots of other visitors and pups. Would definitely go back and stay here based on hospitality of our short visit.

The larger patio area has picnic tables in pebbles with leash hooks at the ends of the tables. The covered patio area is on concrete but has misters and standard patio tables. During cooler weather the larger area is a great place to bring your pup and enjoy brunch & cold beers brewed on-site.
