    Nice stay

Very friendly staff gave us ideas for nearby places to eat. In the morning we had endless coffee.

    Good location

Room was adequate. Carpet was vacuumed, but the linoleum was filthy. Bed was comfy, and lots of great walking spots. People were friendly and helpful.

    Good For What It Is

It's a cheap, dog-friendly Red Roof. Staff were nice, property was good, room smelled strongly of cleaner but was solid otherwise.

It was a place to sleep

It was easy to find off I-65. Driving up to the building I got the feeling I was in the shady part of town. There was a “party” on the second floor. It wasn’t loud just a group of men hanging outside the room on the balcony. Drinking & playing music. Walking to our room I noticed a broken down lawn chair outside one of the rooms with a dirty pet bowl next to it. Entering the room we immediately checked for bed bugs. All clear.

For the most part it was a nice room. Until I noticed part of the ceiling which in two spots the paint was chipping. The hotel was definitely pet friendly. When our dog had an accident on the bed the office lady was understanding and gave us clean sheets. Those sheets were so thin they were see through. The comforter had burn marks. There was a lot of dog poop in the patchy grass. It was clean and it was a place to stay that accepted dogs without an additional fee. It's an old hotel that should be updated or prices should be lowered.

    Clean and Comfortable

The room was fine with plenty of space and good lighting. There was a microwave, fridge and safe. The dog area is small but had bags and a trash bin and there is plenty of other other space around the hotel.

    Desperate need of cleaning

Late night check in area was disgusting/filthy, night staff was not very pleasant. Room smelled very moldy/musty, was semi clean room. The outside area was even worse had to be very careful taking Mikah outside as there was broken glass/liquid substances/litter everywhere. The morning desk staff was very nice. Mikah does not recommend this hotel for any fur babies or humans!

    Bad Smelling Room

The room smelled terribly of heavy air freshener and covered up cigarette smoke. I found the smoke detector had remnants of a plastic bag covering it.

Room ok, other guests not so much

The room was clean but well used. The bathroom door wouldn't shut and the toilet ran frequently. Other guests were noisy and not considerate of being outside someone else's room. Probably would not stay there again.

    Construction zone!

I didn't even stay. Too loud. Too messy. Construction full blast. 😞

    Very smoky

The main office smelled of smoke. The woman working it was smoking outside with the door propped by her foot. The rooms also smelled of smoke. The doors are external more like a motel as well. Just a heads up.

    Great value for the price

We didn’t end up bringing our dog, but it would’ve been fine if we had. Loved that their were wood floors in the room, and the staff was friendly. Close to downtown activities, and was a quiet stay.

You get what you pay for

Staff was less than engaging and room (handicap accessible) was filthy. Not sure when the last time the floors were mopped.
