  Pleasant experience

  We’ve stayed here twice now on our way across the country and both times it’s been a pleasant experience. Having pets it’s not always easy to find a nice place to stay at and this location is welcoming and we feel comfortable staying at. The rooms are clean and they offer breakfast in the mornings as well, which is great.

  Helpful beyond expectations

  I made this reservation for my son, his family, and their 2 dogs. Because the reservation was in my name they could not check in. The woman at the desk told my son exactly what I needed to do to fix this. She even gave him the number to call. She suggested what they could do while they waited. 20 minutes and all was well❣️❣️❣️

  Comfortable Accommodations

  We’ve always had good experiences at this hotel. Friendly staff, fresh breakfast, comfortable beds. We’ll be back. Being right off Highway 10 is so convenient.

  2nd room a lot better than the 1st

  1st room was freezing, turned AC off assuming we would let the room warm up then adjust the settings. Wrong, AC was either on continuously or off. The toilet was sluggish then not flushing a while later. And the dead bolt lock did not work. We finally gave up & complained & thankfully the 2nd room was OK. Dog fee was higher than most & no outdoor dog are set up. Guess I would try a different motel should I end up there again.

  Nasty

  We booked this hotel because it was the closest place to the event we were attending that accepted animals. When we checked in, my first thought was, “it’s not very nice but at least it seems clean.” Once we got into the room, it had a weird smell and it was wet or very humid in there. My dog found a dirty sock (someone else’s), a sunflower seed, and other dirty nasty stuff. The head boards were dirty and the bottom “leather part” of the bed was stretched out and looked like it had vomit or something on it. The floor was sticky. The TV didn’t work. The pool was green and full of trash. The door to the room was paper thin and didn’t have any insulation to keep nose out. My dogs heard EVERYTHING that happened out in the hall. We slept, maybe, an hour the whole night. Oh, and instead of a fitted sheet, a flat sheet was laid on top of the mattress topper. We came home and scrubbed everyone and everything. I would recommend staying somewhere else, and drive a little further, if you have animals.

  NOT For Cats

  Do not stay here with a cat! The bed frames allow your cat to get under on all 4 sides and you won’t be able to get it out! We stayed because we were exhausted. Kitty stayed in bathroom. We can usually secure the access spots but not here. Plus dirty used plastic cups on floor. Front desk staff tried to help.

  Awful

  Drug selling going on a few yards away. Pool was supposed to be open but no water. The clerk kept the lobby on her choice of TV, she did not greet and did not ask us about our stay. It was noisy all night, there was no breakfast, just a few danish. Not pleasant.

  Good location but some room to grow

  Good location, friendly staff. Decent stay for our doggy. The room had an incredibly strong smell, like a cologne bottle broke that seemed to be covering up that previous guests smoked in a nonsmoking room. We could hear guests next door and above us. The pool was broken and there was no alternative, which in the summer in Louisiana was a major downfall. If the pool was fixed and we had a room without that strong smell, we would go back for sure.

  There’s a better location

  The next exit has the newer hotels; this grouping is older and being renovated but not quite there. Dog facilities were okay.

  location was a little tricky to get to coming from the east with the road construction the

  My humans were happy with the room and I was treated well!
  Mom and dad's bed was very cozy and the room was very clean.

  BW Lafayette Inn

  The room and staff were great EXCEPT the waste basket had not been emptied, the prior guest’s bar of used soap was in the bathtub, and no bath towels, which we did not realize until we stepped out of the shower this am.

  Hotel was very clean, my room was fantastic. Comfortable bed.
  The stall was so cordial and most helpful.
