      Convenient location

      The hotel was a convenient location within driving distance of St. Joseph, MI. There is a Meijer, and Aldi's very close by. Starbucks and Biggby coffee shops Cracker Barrel and a few other places to eat. Room was on the south side of building away from the Highway so no road noise. Our dog was fine here other than the fact that we were on the second floor so going out to potty was a bit tricky. Descent room I think they are remodeling it. Floor of tub was stained from were and hallway had a odd smell. You can't take food from the breakfast area to your room either.

      Was Ok

      Staff were friendly, lobby and room were clean. Ice machine on our floor was out of service. Breakfast was inedible. The scrambled eggs and sausage resembled toy food and after one bite toy food may have been better. Perplexed that what appeared to be a well run hotel would serve such sub-par food.
