    Lovely hotel to relax with your dog

    All areas except restaurants and pool open to fogs. Large, comfortable lobby where you can sit by restaurant with your dog and order a drink and food. Staff very friendly. Pet friendly rooms very clean and located by elevator near a side hotel entrance for easy access. Rating of 4 bones because no water bowl was provided or a dog biscuit which other hotels provide.

    Wonderful hotel

    We come every year to Lake George for a get a way vacation. We love the Queensbury because we can bring our lil' princess pooch with us and she is as comfortable here as in our home. The rooms are clean and exquisite. It’s close enough to Lake George without being in the crowds there. The food is excellent and the surrounding restaurants are also great too.

    Dog friendly

    My husband was working and we (me and my dogs) tagged along! I found this last minute for a night stay! A beautifully renovated and very clean hotel with AWSOME room service! That’s a plus to not have to leave dogs in the room. We will stay again! Next time I’ll bring my swimsuit so I can enjoy the pool and hot tub! Our room with the king size bed was a little tight, but overall it was very comfortable and relaxing.

    Nice hotel

    Great location within walking distance of restaurants and just across the street from a nice park as well as grass lined sidewalks for walking. Not a lot of counter space in the bathroom but a nice shower. Staff was very dog friendly and pub in the hotel had good food.

    Hidden Gem!

    We were searching for a walkable place to hang our leashes for a few days while we explored the Lake George region. What a great find we had in the Queensbury Hotel! Beautiful for the humans, walkable for the pups—clean, friendly….total win! If you’re ok with being about 15 min from downtown Lake George, stay here. We loved it and can’t wait to visit again!

    Great hotel..

    We stayed with our Cavalier pup… very accommodating and the rooms are clean and updated. The hotel is really lovely.. very upscale for the price. The only drawback was that, although pet friendly, dogs are not allowed at either of the restaurants in the hotel… not even in their outside seating areas. Very odd, since the hotel itself is dog friendly! We also had the misfortune to stay in this town on a Monday night… most of the Fido recommended eateries are closed on Monday snd Tuesday. We did find a great restaurant within walking distance that was dog friendly and had amazing food and beer. I would highly recommend the Downtown City Tavern… they loved our pup, snd provided water and cooked her a little hamburger Patty…❤️🐶

    Beautiful updated hotel in downtown. Plenty of parks nearby for walking. Staff was wonderful!

    Try Airbnb first....

    it’s a good hotel, but the “pet friendly” commitment just seems like a cash grab.
    they put all dogs on one wing. so, one dog barks, all dogs bark. I think my dog was anxious all throughout the stay and he doesn’t have anxiety issues usually. they charge 50 dollar pet fee (+50 dollar refundable deposit) but you don’t get anything for it...like, no water bowl, pet bed, etc. for a 50 dollar pet fee, I was expecting atleast a water bowl. it’s really not pet friendly, that policy just felt like it was a cash grab

    Love this place

    Love the old world elegance of this hotel. There is a lovely park across the street for puppy. Burger King 2 blocks away. Love the Outlet Shopping. Will be back

    Our Last Minute Stay At The Queensbury Hotel

    We had a family member who was in the hospital and very sick - and we had to pack our Golden Retriever in the car and head down from Vermont to be close to the hospital.

    The rates were very reasonable, the rooms and hotel were very nice, and the price per night was less than boarding Lady (our Golden). We were very happy with the hotel: their restaurant, the Fenimore, was excellent, as well as their breakfast downstairs. The lobby is beautiful, especially over the holidays.

    Thanks to The Queensbury Hotel, we were able to still have a wonderful Christmas with our little girl, and salvage our holiday despite our situation. Thank you...!!

    very nice, a little pricey

    With so many dingy-looking motels all over Lake George, I was confident from the Queensbury's website that this hotel would be clean and comfortable. The lobby makes this hotel seem rather upscale--it is just gorgeous, and there was a live band playing low-key music when I arrived. The hallways and rooms themselves could probably use an update if you are fussy about that sort of thing, though. For me, it was nice and comfy. I couldn't enjoy any other parts of the hotel due to having my dog with me, but my solution for breakfast was to order room service! The sausage/egg/cheese sandwich was delicious. Downsides? I feel like the pet fee is a bit steep. Also, watch out when arriving because the large sign that says "Queensbury Hotel: ENTRANCE" is actually an EXIT ONLY and I was halfway in before having to cause a traffic disruption by backing out again. Just go to the very next driveway and you'll be entering a nice large parking lot.
