Breakfast
- BrianJan 5, 2024Dirty
All common areas very dirty. The pool and jacuzzi water was disgusting. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
- Jul 23, 2023Not well maintained
The front desk clerk was nice, although a little confused when I told him the room was in awful condition. Cat scratches on the couch, drapes blowing over the AC unit were filthy dirty, carpet was stained and appeared unhealthy to walk on with bare feet. I once worked for a hotel in a different state whose franchise owner took pride in his many properties and set high maintenance standards. Clearly this owner thinks that if you’re traveling with a dog, you don’t deserve the same considerations. The cost of the room was far too high for what you’re getting. We moved to a Hilton property instead and it wasn’t much more cost-wise for a room at a well-maintained property. I do not recommend this La Quinta. I like La Quintas, but this one is not worth the money.
- DouglasMar 16, 2023Great choice
Comfortable room. Well maintained hotel. Friendly staff. And great for our 3 pets.
- JudithMar 13, 2023Perfect for overnight stay
This hotel was the halfway point on a long trip and it was perfect. Although the elevator and the hallway was a little bit of a mess, the room was clean and updated and exactly what we needed for an overnight. It is conveniently located off the highway and had ample green space and poop bags available.
- AshleyFeb 20, 2023Convenient stop on our roadtrip
Hotel was sufficient for our needs! It was our pup’s first stay in a hotel so some of the odd noises (people opening their room doors) made her bark, but overall the hotel worked out well for us. We were not charged a pet fee, which was great!
- RosemaryNov 14, 2022Very comfortable
Clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast included. No pet fee. The front desk guy did not tell us where the main dog walk was. Found it after walking completely around the building, but it was sufficient. Doggie poop bags provided as well as trash cans. Positive experience overall. Convenient to the highway.
- BruceNov 8, 2022Ok room
The room was clean. Modern hotel. Breakfast was clean and very complete. Not enough towels. Sink clogged up before we got there. They got it unclogged but pretty much wrecked it in the process.
TV clicker missing. Staff fixed every concern. There must have been some real winners in that room before us. I would probably stay there again. - MyrnaSep 22, 2022Great hotel to vacation with your pets
Hotel is close to many dog-friendly activities. Hotel staff were very friendly. Really good continental breakfast.
- GeraldJul 18, 2022Great for Dogs and Good Value.
Great location to visit Kings Island. We had a nice King Suite, and smelled fresh (no dog odors). Very friendly and helpful staff and our room caretaker was great!! Complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the man and lady were so nice!! They do need to have a TV Guide available. There are a lot of channels, but you can only surf and most channels don't show their info. Other than that, very happy.
- JohnJan 25, 2022East on off from I-75
Very friendly, pleasant staff. Great breakfast, clean room. Excellent overall experience for us and the pup.
- CindyJan 6, 2022Not a great stay
The first room smelled so bad of cat urine that we had to ask for a new room. The desk person was very nice and changed us to a new room. It was OK, but not great. Very tired and in need of a complete redo. The hotel let a semi truck park right outside our window, so we kept listening to a refer unit most of the evening. It was shut off because I complained, but it was started back up at 1:30 am. Not much sleep. The continental breakfast was terrible. All food was microwaved. Wouldn't go back.
- LisaDec 23, 2021Great hotel for location and dogs!
Clean, nice location.
- CharityOct 23, 2021Close to everything
Stay was great. Rated a 4 out of 5 because dogs were on 2nd floor. A little inconvenient to take an elevator up and down with a dog that can't do stairs. Also guests were loud, barking dogs, but hotel was clean. Beds comfy.
- JanisOct 17, 2021Good Pick
Good pick for a quick overnight stay with a dog.
- MaryOct 7, 2021Vacation with Dakota and Reno
Everyone was nice and friendly. The was clean, comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed our stay there.
- LisaOct 5, 2021Visiting family in Cinti
The location is excellent- close to everything! Very friendly staff! Nice common space and pool area. Due to Covid, bagged breakfast is provided. The reason I gave it 3 bones is because the room had a distinct pet odor- maybe they will do away with carpet in the rooms, that may help. We have a large dog (Irish Wolfhound) but at home people comment you would never know by smell that a dog is in our home! Also, on day 3 we had to ask for our room to be cleaned (hadn’t been done)-and even then the bedding wasn’t changed but the bathroom area was cleaned well. Overall, we would return!
- JodySep 12, 2021Dirty
The elevator floor was dirty with crumbs and in the morning had a puddle of something spilled. The room was OK, but for $130 per night, I expected better. And then, to our horror, we pulled back the sheets because the mattress was very comfortable and I wanted a picture of the tag, only to find a dark spot that covered a very large portion of the mattress. We called it the dead body mattress. Very disturbing. Will not stay there again.
- RichardAug 2, 2021Bad experience
Beds were uncomfortable, very hard. Pillows were too soft and caused neck pain. Hotel guests were unruly during all hours of the night which led to not enough sleep. No breakfast offered because of COVID. Only got bags of pre-packaged, processed "food" so we just went out to eat instead. Dog area is a small sliver of a grassy area at the edge of the property, not enough space for small dogs let alone larger breeds.
- CydniJul 12, 2021Dirty and noisy
I would not recommend this hotel. We paid extra for an executive suite and we’re put in a room that lacked lighting, there was no lamp at all on the desk. The room was dirty, particularly the bathroom. The clock was broken, no display at all (yes checked the power). It was a large room which seemed to be normally used to store random furniture pieces that made no sense. Will not stay at a La Quinta again.
- MaryJul 11, 2021La Quinta stay
Enjoyed our stay here. Clean, very helpful staff!
- LysenaJun 30, 2021Ok, not much to report
Some hotels just generate a sense of fun and safety. Some just have people smoking outside the floor next to the ashtray. Not complaining, just not much more to offer than that. Ok for dogs too.
- BRUCEMay 16, 2021Very nice newly updated clean and comfortable room.
Had no issues with this property it was just what we needed.
- LeeFeb 17, 2021Bad experience
We had an unfortunate experience. Our pet-friendly room was near the indoor pool. The hotel staff allowed unsupervised kids running around, up and down the halls and in the pool until late at night. We suspect it was an unsupervised child who pulled the fire alarm around 11 pm. The fire alarm blared for at least 30 minutes until the fire dept. could arrive, check everything and turn it off. This was entirely avoidable if the hotel staff had better managed the pool hours and out-of-control kids running the halls. Also, the walls were so thin, we could hear everything in the adjoining rooms.
- KimJan 18, 2021Great Location
Exactly what we needed. Close to main interstate, ease of access when we needed to take the dogs out.
- KimNov 12, 2020Broken Elevator and no bath stopper
Arriving with our Great Dane with bad hips to find out the elevator was broken and only third and fourth floors available was disappointing. They did offer to help carry bags. The bed was great. Finding no tub stopper after mentioning to front desk at check in to be sure to put us in a room with a functioning tub was strike 2. Strike three came when we called down and they said they would run one up. And never did. And didn’t answer the phone again. After shoving a prescription bottle into the drain to get that bath I was no longer loving this hotel.
- MariaOct 28, 2020Very nice and great value
The location was very nice and well maintained, with a surprising amount of amenities for the price. I would have given it five bones except that the elevator was not working and with two dogs and a bad ankle I didn't want to schlep up the stairs. So I wound up in a room right down the hall from the pool, which was open until 11, which seems very late. As a result there was a lot of partying right up until closing and the noise kept disturbing my dogs--resulting in barking. Sigh.
- LindolOct 2, 2020Below average
Dirty carpet, leaky faucet, leaky water supply to toilet, fleas, A/C thermostat did’nt work
- GregoryAug 13, 2020Great stay! Thanks!
Great stay! Thanks!
- TiffanyAug 7, 2020Okay!
The only downfall was the elevator was broken and you had to take the stairs. I don’t mind this but the side doors don’t actually shut and lock and everyone was using them so, they were never locked! Low security, no cameras but very convenient to all restaurants and seemed to be a nice area!!!
- WilliamJul 31, 2020Got what we expected
We have two dogs, including Pittie who is a bit socially challenged. Great accommodations and very adequate grass area for business.
Extremely friendly staff. Followed COVID protocols which was appreciated. Quick stay overnight on the last leg of a out and back drive.
Room was comfortable and everything worked as expected.
Cannot rate breakfast as there was none due to COVID.
Great location, quick off and on to the highway.Would stay again.
- AndreaMay 26, 2020Clean, very dog friendly
Staff were very friendly to our pup. There are adjacent grassy areas to walk your dog and litter bags provided.
- EastonApr 19, 2020Great for Dogs!
We got a room on the first floor (which did seem to have some other dog hair in the corners, so maybe this is one of their "designated" rooms), but the stay was great for us and our dog. Dog walking areas were clean and had pick-up-bags. Would come back again, especially for the price.
- MaryMar 4, 2020Great Place
When we first arrived, they gave us a room with no TV and bed appeared to to be disheveled. But when I called the front desk desk they apologized and put us in another room right away and even upgraded to a bigger room with two beds for same price. The rooms are good sized and clean and bath appears to be updated. The location is great. When we come to this area with our pets we will return here.
- KristaleeFeb 9, 2020Great
Great place to bring pets! Staff was very friendly and the hotel was nice.
- KerrieJan 3, 2020Very Quiet!
Great place to stay.
I was in the 4th floor. I heard nothing! It was great!
Very clean, no doggie smells!
Nice breakfast buffet! There is something for everyone.
Always someone at the front desk if you needed help! Definitely a repeat customer! - HaleyDec 1, 2019Great Experience!!
I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Cincinnati with their dog(s). In fact we were able to take all four of our spoiled pups with us, meaning we got to save on boarding and experience the trip with them. The staff was exceptional and courteous. Breakfast was delicious, and my husband was so excited that they offered gravy and biscuits, and it was tasty! The pool and hot tub were both nice, and the pool was heated but not too hot like some other heated pools in different hotels. Super close to Kings Island. Around lots of shopping and dining options. And they even gave us a later checkout upon request. 10/10 recommend , and it will definitely be where we stay when visiting the area in the future.
- SaundraNov 7, 2019Fantastic Location Nice Hotel
Surrounded by stores and eating places. Right up from the highway. The room was great. I loved where my room was located inside the hotel. I definitely would stay there again and ask for the same room if available.
- CathyOct 24, 2019Good but..
Huge room (mini king suite) lots of room for our younger dogs to huckle and play before bed. King bed was very comfortable and we slept like babies that night. We were on the 3rd floor and the elevator was broken in the morning. Not the end of the world but disappointed
- TevinOct 11, 2019Always great stay!
We always stay here when we're in town and they're always so accommodating! Allowed us a late checkout and also mind our privacy as we have small, sensitive dogs.
- KarineOct 3, 2019Attention to Detail: clean, well lit, friendly, professional staff!
Highly recommend a stay here! Entry into room provided a fresh & clean scented well appointed room! Very quiet. Nice breakfast offered. Well kept grounds, well lit. Attentive staff!

Beautiful room. Clean. Would stay there again
- TheresaMar 15, 2019We’ll Be Back
Great hotel for those traveling with their fur babies. The room was very nice and clean. Nice area to walk the pups for potty breaks.
- KarenMore than a year agoSuper Dog Friendly
An unexpected pleasure. From the dog treats at check in, to the treat left by the maid, the friendly staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Clean rooms and the hot tub was exactly what the humans needed after our long drive. We will stay here on our next trip.
