We enjoyed hiking the Gatlinburg Trail with our 1.5 year old Golden Retriever. Pretty flat hike but great for our pup’s first big one. It’s right along the water which sounded lovely. We parked alongside the road, but would recommend parking at the visitor’s center.

Hotel was sufficient for our needs! It was our pup’s first stay in a hotel so some of the odd noises (people opening their room doors) made her bark, but overall the hotel worked out well for us. We were not charged a pet fee, which was great!
