Clean, close to the highway. Mini fridge and microwave in room. Adequate run area for the dog. Disappointed we didn't get a ground floor as requested. One of the bedspreads was clearly not washed.

Very clean, no carpeted floors. Beds and pillows comfortable. They charged $7 cash upon arrival for our fur baby. No weight limit. Best dog walking area is in the front by the office. Also, lots of grass along the back of the building - much better than by the parking lot. Didn’t stay for breakfast. Would stay again for the value.

Although the room was very dark it was clean and had no carpet. Very small area at the edge of the parking lot for dogs. In the morning we ventured into an empty lot beside the store and luckily didn’t get shot for trespassing. Couldn’t get coffee for breakfast because the receptionist was very slow making new pot so there was not enough for everyone.

Room was clean. Good location. No carpeting which is great with a dog (ticks, fleas). However, no suitable outside area for dogs to relieve themselves.

Right off of I-95 and clean. Best place I’ve stayed that allows pets. The people that work there are very nice and one offered to show me to my room. Another offered to open the door for me since I was carrying 2 cups of coffee. The breakfast was very good too. Highly recommend! Will stay again.

This Lodge is not fancy but worth the price. Room was clean & beds were comfy. Couple guys were loud & drinking beer outside our door until 10pm. Also, sketchy people on the second floor were banging around until 4am. Hotel staff said it's been an issue before. If no other pet friendly option in Walterboro for our trip north, would stay here again but ask for 2nd floor. There is gas next door and several food places close by.

The motel is small and located close to I-95. The owners have tried to add personal touches, such as plants and decorations, to make the place feel less like a motel. There is a small patch of grass for animals to use, but it is located by the road. There were no adequate areas to walk the dog. The property does have feral cats wandering around and long-term residents. There are no coffee makers in the room, but the lobby has 24 hour coffee and hot water. I stayed in a king bed room and had a couch. The Golden Retriever that was with me quickly claimed the couch for himself. :-)

The hotel was clean and easily accessed from 95.
Shoney’s across the street provided dinner. However, the sign on the billboard says serving a hot breakfast. It was really a continental breakfast. They did offer vouchers to Waffle House down the street if you did not like what was served. Having dogs made it difficult to use the voucher at Waffle House.
