Good area to walk dogs
Sleep Inn Charleston - West AshleyPros: great area to walk dogs, decent breakfast (included), clean rooms. Cons: carpet smelled badly. When we complained we were moved to a room which did not smell. Very nice receptionist. Dogs were happy and so were we.

Good size rooms

Clean, pleasant staff
Clarion Pointe BeckleyVery clean, decent size room. We asked for ground floor room near the second entrance and we got it. Area to walk the dogs was small at the edge of the parking lot behind the hotel, but enough for small dogs. A couple of restaurants very close by. Overall adequate for 1 night stay.

Cheap and clean
Econo Lodge WalterboroAlthough the room was very dark it was clean and had no carpet. Very small area at the edge of the parking lot for dogs. In the morning we ventured into an empty lot beside the store and luckily didn’t get shot for trespassing. Couldn’t get coffee for breakfast because the receptionist was very slow making new pot so there was not enough for everyone.
