We traveled from Pennsylvania to Yellowstone and had scheduled this hotel for one stop one the way home. This was the worst hotel on all of our road trips to 47 states. The clerk (owner?) was the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. He had me stand there while he finished a phone call which was no problem, then briefly picked up his cell to finish a call. As we began my registration he stopped when a man requested toilet paper and he went to get that. Then I was asked 3 times if I only had one dog.
Then the room I requested was not available so a $10.00 upcharge. Now I was getting upset. He gave me a long cold stare twice as I requested could we move this along. As my card went into the machine although I had registered 2 weeks prior second man asked where is the elevator, there is not one. As I have a disability steps are difficult and we had so much luggage it was not a safe option. I then said I was cancelling the stay while he kept challenging everything I said.
He told to call Expedia who I did not know BringFido worked under. Luckily the wonderful young man at BringFido helped me find a room despite the late hour. Yes it was greater than twice the price but well worth it. Thank you BringFido for helping me and thank you Staybridge Suites for your excellent customer service. I have rarely encountered a misogynistic person like the person at the Ramada. Really women do know we deserve to be treated with equal respect. When my husband and dog came in and saw just the lobby it was clear we made the right choice to leave as the grounds were awful. Thanks again BringFido for the help.

General location is undesirable. Interior of building was under construction. Hallway upstairs was missing drywall about 24” above the floor. Carpet was loose. Room was dirty, small hole in ceiling, carpet torn with holes and loose in areas. Linens were stained. The one receptacle I chose to charge an electric overnight didn’t work. No sink stopper. Bathroom floor tile either broken or dirty. Shower curtain was coming apart. Air conditioner/fan made unusual noise intermittently all night. Staff was unfriendly.

Our room was very nice and clean, and the staff very helpful and courteous. The landscaping was very nice and well-maintained. However, we found the outdoor litter to be disgusting! When we took our dog outside, there were empty cans and bottles and other litter right by our patio door. The outdoor trash containers were overflowing. We were on the ground floor, and the lock on the sliding glass door to the patio was broken. Fortunately there was a metal security bar that could be put in place. I felt fairly safe since I was traveling with my boyfriend and his large dog, but if I had been traveling alone, I would have felt unsafe in that room. If they would deal with the trash/ litter problem and make sure the locks work, the hotel would be a very nice place to stay.

Safe Stay: Ramada by Wyndham Sioux Falls has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place, and follows the Count on Us (Wyndham) cleanliness and sanitization policy. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Hotel staff are required to wear masks. This property advises that guests without full COVID-19 vaccination must wear masks.
