    Spacious and Cozy

We loved the amount of space in our room for our family of five and two labs. The room did have a weird smell (like cat urine) and the hot tub was broken however everything else was great. Plenty of space to walk your dogs.

    Great Stay!

Beautiful property. Pups loved it! Clean and quiet and plenty of room to take the dogs out! They are at the dead end of a road and there is a huge field where you can let your pets roam. Really friendly staff. Would stay again.

    Malfunctioning fire alarm

After the fire alarm went off, terrorizing our dog, we learned from the desk manager that "Oh, that was nothing. It happens anytime it gets hot and then the sensor goes off in the attic." The temperatures were already falling into the low 80s by then; it was never hotter than 88 degrees, yet the alarm sounded, we had to leave the building, and the fire department showed up to do an inspection. My dog and I were outside for about 20-30 minutes waiting for the all-clear only to find out that this happens with some predictability. This was after I reported that the electricity in our room wasn't functioning properly, then later discovered that the sink stopper wasn't functioning properly, and then that the toilet was running. All things considered, we would never take our dog back there because of the fire alarm situation.

    Lots of grass

We had a king suite with a kitchenette. There is an elevated grassy dike behind the hotel which leads to a field. It was a slushy day so we had to really clean off the dogs. But it was a large wonderful area.

Great Rooms, Great Dog Walking Areas

I realllly wanted to give this stay five bones. Our king 1 bedroom suite was updated, large, comfortable and clean. No problem checking in with our GSD and fat house cat. Fair pet fees. There are a couple different areas to walk your pets, including a treed area just over a little hill. BUTTTT….our room overlooked a small courtyard. Said courtyard had some kind of party going on beginning at 6:30PM. We could hear them word for word (and we were on the second floor). At 9PM we called to ask when they might be winding down as we had an early day the next day. We were told (politely) that they could go until 11PM but the clerk was going to check on them at 10PM. They partied right up until 11PM. Which kept us up later than we wanted to be. I think for a public area that causes that much noise disruption, it’s reasonable to be off limits by 10PM. Many travelers at hotels need to get up early. Our late night caused us to get a late start. I think things would have been fine if we had been on the opposite side of the hotel. If not for the noise, this would have been a five bone stay all the way. If you need to get your rest, I suggest asking for a room on the opposite side of the hall from the courtyard.

Great Spot w/ Dog Exercise Area

Nice hotel, very clean, and had a great "side yard" to run the dog in the evening and the morning. Rooms were nicely appointed and hotel was quiet. Would definitely stay again.
