  Could be better

  It was good for Fido. Enough green space to walk. Friendly staff. However, the fridge in the room had someone’s leftovers and the pillow case had something red on it. The couch was a bit ratty. Don’t think I would go back.

  Decent stay

  Pretty dark and quiet. Fido had an area for relief. Property is tired, but reasonably OK. Decent breakfast.

  Very disappointing

  Hotel old and run down, dreary, dark, rusty air conditioning that smelled. Dirty rugs, slimy slippery bathroom floor, shower worn and needed caulking. Shower curtain old and drab. Noisy people all hours of the night and the door to outside had a pool of water from above air conditioners that you had to step over. Dog walking area wasn’t mowed and poop disposal hadn’t been emptied in months.

  Great off 81

  Older property, the sink did not drain well. The back door to the parking lot did not latch well. This property could use some maintenance. Our first experience with Comfort Inn and probably our last.

  Great stay

  Front desk area was neat and lobby had a great smell! All big bonus points. Booked this hotel 30 minutes before arrival and everything was great! Dog area is large and out back. Only complaint would be more lighting in the parking lot.

  Late night pit stop with pooch

  After a long drive, this hotel was a great overnight spot. Clean rooms and welcomed my dog.

  Wonderful staff

  While our room was not perfect, the King Suite was perfect for us and our large dog. Because there were a few problems with the room (slow drains, inadequate air conditioner, broken blow dryer), Angie at the front desk gave us a 50% discount on our stay and 2 free bottles of water. We only notified her of the problems so they could fix them, not expecting any kind of discount. All staff were so friendly with our dog. Will probably stay there again😊.

  Good location

  Right off of RT 81, this hotel was easy to find. Food was available just a few miles away in a cute college town. The room was dark, but clean. There is a dog walk area and a big field as well. The hotel was quiet and we had no complaints. The grounds needed to be cleaned up as there was garbage all round the building

  No breakfast due to. Virginia Covid 19 restriction. . But the woman at the desk made up for it with friendliness , and helpful suggestions . I am sorry I didn’t get her name because she deserves the recognition for excellent customer service .
  She was on duty at 730pm on Fri 6/12 .

  Good Value and Quality Hotel in VA

  This hotel was in a good location. The staff was very friendly and the dinning area for breakfast was spacious and had two TVs. The room was clean and easily accessible. The parking area was spacious. The green area was a good size with plastic poop bags for you to use.

  Breakfast had several choices including yogurt and snacks. Waffle station, eggs, bacon, sausage and grits. Pastries and fruits too.

  2 downsides. First, you are 15 minutes from downtown Christiansburg. Not a big deal as I am sure convenience is the primary reason why folks book this hotel. Second, the hot tub needed to be fixed. It was broken and did not stay warm. Hopefully, this was resolved quickly for the next guests.

  The only reason I did not stay here again was that it was fully booked!
