Good Value and Quality Hotel in VA

This hotel was in a good location. The staff was very friendly and the dinning area for breakfast was spacious and had two TVs. The room was clean and easily accessible. The parking area was spacious. The green area was a good size with plastic poop bags for you to use.

Breakfast had several choices including yogurt and snacks. Waffle station, eggs, bacon, sausage and grits. Pastries and fruits too.

2 downsides. First, you are 15 minutes from downtown Christiansburg. Not a big deal as I am sure convenience is the primary reason why folks book this hotel. Second, the hot tub needed to be fixed. It was broken and did not stay warm. Hopefully, this was resolved quickly for the next guests.

The only reason I did not stay here again was that it was fully booked!

Just ok. Motel.

Now I understand the difference between the various chain brands. I did not expect a motel inn style setting. That was my fault. The place was very crowded. There was an event happening in town and the pool and place was packed. The laundry room and pool area were only ok. The area for dogs was not as wide open and green as the pictures show. As of July 2019, a new hotel was being built behind the place which made the area dirty and less than ideal. The place could use an upgrade and new exterior paint to spruce it up. If you are traveling with family (kids), this place will work for you as I saw several families here. I will add pictures too so you can see what I saw.
