This is a very unassuming older hotel from the outside, but effort has been made to keep it up with recent paint and plantings, etc. Inside it still bears the feel of an 80's hotel, but it has been updated with medium grade finishes. My room was very spacious, with couch, desk, king bed, etc. There was a decent shower and plenty of light in the bathroom. I loved that the air conditioner temp and fan could both be set to my preference. There is an Italian restaurant on site: I did not eat there but the menu looked good, and they do room service. The bed and the pillow were exceptionally comfortable - I got a great night's sleep. The room was clean. It was very reasonably priced.
There were plenty of clean, mown lawn spaces around the perimeter for walking dogs to do business. Because it is off a highway exit and near a main road there is not really any potential for off leash running safely if that were important to someone. Lots of entries meant I could choose a door close to my room and not have to walk the dog through the main lobby or busy areas every time we went in or out. If you want a high end place to be pampered, this may not be a choice, but it you want a comfortable night or two's stay while on a trip for you and your pup, this is a convenient, reasonably priced option.
