They don't have a dedicated area for dogs to relieve themselves nor a stand with bags and trash receptacle. Unfortunate because the only small strip of grass is in front of the hotel window where people eat breakfast. There is a larger grass area in back of the hotel but no bags or trash receptacle. Otherwise staff were friendly toward my Fido. Some guests were not so nice. They seemed shocked to see a dog in the hotel. Oh well.

We brought our dog and our foster dog for one overnight stay. There was nobody at the front desk when we came to check in and we had to wait a while. Our room had a lot of damage to it from previous pets that seemed to have been left alone. There was a nice grassy area to take them to go potty, but watch your step because there was a lot of feces left behind by people who didn’t pick it up.

Safe Stay: AmericInn by Wyndham Madison West has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place, and follows the Count on Us (Wyndham) cleanliness and sanitization policy. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay and sealed after cleaning. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Contactless check-in and check-out are available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks. This property advises that guests without full COVID-19 vaccination must wear masks.
