Many other people have written that the place was in severe need of remodeling. Out room was newly renovated and quite nice. I always bring a sheet to cover the bed and a couple towels to cover chairs and was glad I did because of the white bedspread. The rest of the hotel was undergoing remodeling. The end of the hall where we were, had a bit of carpeting covering bare concrete and other areas were mid process, so there were unfinished areas. No big deal at all.
None of the ice machines worked. Maybe it was part of the whole remodel. The breakfast was adequate with the usual collection of cereals, breads, eggs, sausage, yogurts, etc. The one disturbing finding in our otherwise clean room, was a bloody finger spot on the back of the chair at the workstation. I am guessing it was perhaps left by someone that needed to do a finger stick to check their blood sugar. I pointed it out to the employee that checked us in the day before, as she happened to be walking by as we were preparing to leave.

We stayed one night and our room wasn’t cleaned before. I know pet floors aren’t the cleanest but the carpets where sticky/damp, sheets and comforter dirty (we had to get a new set from the front). The bathroom had black fur all over (our dog is white and tan). Wish I would have remembered to take pictures. Overall will not be staying at this location again!

Stayed for a weekend. Milwaukee hotels aren’t very dog friendly so chose this because allow large dogs and had a pool and hot tub. Decent hotel that needs many upgrades. The pool room is under renovations now. The owners informed me that the entire hotel is getting upgraded soon. Will be awesome when it’s done. Lots and lots of dogs at hotel. Very busy there. Great location. Decent breakfast. My biggest complaint is the tons of garbage around most of the hotel outside. I don’t know where it came from but someone needs pick it up.

Hotel needs work. Carpeting in room badly stained and smelly. Ceiling discolored from water damage. Wallpaper in the room, lobby, halls peeling from the walls. Shower fixture severely corroded (large rust hole). And so on….

The staff is very nice and accommodating. We stayed two nights because the room was comfortable and it was ok to leave our dogs in the room if they were crated. I was very happy with the room - it was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The only issue was the tub was slow to drain. Everything else was great!

Our stay was highlighted by the professional, courteous and friendly Desk-clerk (Stephanie) who checked us in! She even called to check if we were happy with our room after we had gotten settled. All things were clean and well-managed (with COVID precautions in mind). Would certainly recommend this as a comfortable stop.
