A Relaxed Way To Take In The Sights

This photo was taken at Castillo de San Marcos National Monument in St. Augustine, FL. We knew going in that the inside of the fort is not dog friendly so we planned ahead. We arrived early and parked right on the lot there which is pretty central. My suggestion if you’re coming in the summer, there’s not much shade so bring plenty of water. On the other side of this picture there’s a more open area with some trees that are good to relax under. My sister is military so she gets in free and a few guests, we took turns going in(we were in a group and they are pretty accommodating with the dog) staff does have a water bowl by where you’d get the tickets from. Overall not bad if you’re in the area.
