Great Food and Super Dog Friendly!

This photo was taken at O'Briens Pub in Newport, RI. We brought our two dogs here the other night and were welcomed in right away. Our Irish Wolfhound is around 200lbs and quite the spectacle, but they had no problem with him strolling right past the bar into the patio area to be seated. The service was top notch. They filled water bowls for the dogs right away and also gave us some O’Brien’s Pub poop bag dispensers and complimentary treat bags. Too cool!!! This place really is the best. We ordered the dogs cheeseburgers- a 6oz for our Rottweiler and an 8oz for our Irish Wolfhound. The kitchen staff must have thought that wasn’t very fair of us, because they brought out two huge juicy 8oz burgers for our pups. I admit that I tasted one of the burgers and I WILL be going back just to order a burger. I couldn’t believe it was for the dog. Delicious! I had fried fish and it was superb. The fries are out of this world, and we usually aren’t big fans of French fries. The food was so great it’s hard to describe! We will be returning ASAP!
