Muskrat Park Gazebo

This photo was taken at Muskrat Park in St. Michaels, MD. David M. Smith was a charismatic, enthusiastic and intelligent man. He was the co-proprietor of Justine’s Ice Cream Parlor along with his partner Tom Quimby. David served on several boards but notably as town commissioner. He was instrumental in the design, fundraising efforts and construction of the gazebo at Muskrat Park. David was devoted to the arts and I had the personal pleasure of knowing him through his involvement in the St. Michaels High School musical production of ‘Annie’. David passed away in 2005 after final stage liver disease. David your spirit is missed...St. Michaels is more special because of your love and dedication. Thank you!☺️
