Lola Joy loved the Waterfront Cafe

This photo was taken at Waterfront Cafe in Chicago, IL. Lola Joy is an 8 month old puppy training to become a therapy dog so we’re always looking for different restaurant settings where we can train. We chose this café because we want to get her used to being close to the water, as well as being in more of a populated space. Our family of 4 visited on a Friday night at 6 PM. The food was good and I loved the sangria. It was a casual atmosphere and the view was amazing as you’re only a few feet away from Lake Michigan. There is a playground next to the cafe. So when Lola Joy was getting a bit restless, we were able to take her to the playground to runoff some energy. She was able to interact with the children and practice her socialization skills and obedience skills. The entire family love the café and we would love to return at another time!
