This photo was taken at Fort Fisher State Park in Kure Beach, NC. These evil little guys can easily get stuck in your dog’s paw pads (or your own feet)! They are hard to remove (best by tweezers). Your dog is more likely to step on one when in the beach grass/plants. So keep them on the sand!
