Two Weenies & A Train

This photo was taken at Conway Scenic Railroad in North Conway, NH. My husband and I took our 2 dachshunds on the train. Our puppy (6 months) had a blast. Our 1.5 year old not so much. He was nervous and scared the first 30 min of the ride. On the way back to the station he was fine. We didn't expect him to be nervous or scared but if you have a dog who is I recommend giving them a calming treat. I appreciate that the train is pet friendly because I didn't want to leave my babies in the hotel room. Other than the fact that my oldest was scared at first it was fun and I would do it again. Highly recommend! Your dog(s) even get a Green Doggy Ticket. Very cute touch! As a couple who sees our dogs as our children we really appreciated that small detail. I should mention doggy tickets are free but you must sit in coach which honestly, is better than first class in my opinion. If you're thinking about bringing your fur baby on the train I say do it! 10/10 recommend.
