The Biginning

I came to the Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Center in Ft. Lauderdale in January. I waited almost 2 weeks for my mom to find me. She was taking care of Sasha, her protector, who passed away with Cancer. We were meant to be together though. The Center was great. They kept my room clean and fed me great food. I was a nice girl and so I bunked with another nice girl. I miss that girl. They took me for walks but since I hadn't seen the vet I couldn't play with humans. My mom didn't need to play with me to know she wanted me though. She put a deposit on me that day and I was then scheduled to see the vet to get a check up, treatments and fixed. I had surgery the next day. I had to wait a couple of days because the center keeps me 24 hours after my surgery and then they were closed on Monday. My mom picked me up and we went to her vet for a second opinion on my health. She wanted to make sure I was in perfect health. My new Dr. Rudd is awesome. He had a couple of concerns and wanted to see me in a month. I went back and my wounds from my previous life were healing very well and all of his concerns were going away. A big sigh of relief from all of us! That's how it all started. My mom tells everyone about the center I came from. She loves it and knows all of my fur buddies need you to know how great it is to adopt from there... you still reading... go adopt a dog or cat if your a little nutty like that!
