Haulover Dog Beach

My first day in the ocean. Wow, I can tell you that I do Not like the beach. The waves were scary. My mom thinks I will get better with time and experience. I don't know about that. I just wanted to run from the ocean. The beach itself was nice. I like the sand. I wish i could have run around off my leash to talk to everyone but I had to stay on a leash. The beach isn't fenced in and if I get distracted I may lose my way. There is only one section that us pups can play, it's big enough but there were a lot of people laying out, maybe they could lay in the people only place to leave more room for running. I was happy to be out of there because of my fear of the ocean. It was my first time though. My mom says the parking was ok but you have to pay to park. The trees have these spiky balls that fall all over the ground, I wasn't happy to walk on them to get to the beach. It was a bit of a walk to get to my part of the beach. There is a nice shower section that the humans can use with a bathroom. I also got rinsed off there too. Again, more water, not my favorite thing. Overall it was a stressful experience but my mom tells me often how much she loves me and is here for me. That makes me happy for the moment. The beach was nice, really nice for the dogs who love it.
