Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue is an all-volunteer, unpaid organization that saves dogs from being euthanized in animal shelters. They provide dogs due to be euthanized a second chance at a happy life with loving families. Their volunteer transporters transport the dogs to their facility where they are spayed/neutered, microchipped, treated for any illnesses, socialized, and then are advertised to be adopted out to qualifying individuals. Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue is working to reduce and/or stop the kill shelter concept. They support and dedicate themselves to promoting responsibility, dedication, education, safety, and the spaying/neutering of pets. See Details
Pet Friendly Rescue Warriors Corp
Rescue Warriors Corp Rescue Warriors Corp is a all volunteer, no kill animal rescue funded solely by private donations. We have no paid employees. The group was founded by 3 women who all have one thing in common their spouses or former spouses served our country. Two of the founders spouses are disabled combat veterans and the third founders spouse is a retired airman. So just as our husbands fought for our freedom, we at Rescue Warriors fight for the freedom of dogs and cats in high kill shelters. See Details
Animal House Shelter, Inc. Animal House Shelter is a non-profit, 501 (3) (c), no-kill animal shelter for all breeds of dogs and cats. They have been open since June 2002 and have rescued, rehabilitated and placed over 17,000 dogs and cats, into their loving forever homes! Animal House Shelter, Inc rescues abused and neglected dogs and cats and rehabilitates them mentally & physically in order to place them with the best new family. They rescue 98% of their dogs from high ‘kill’ shelters, pounds and various animal control facilities in which they are usually listed as strays, and almost always scheduled to be euthanized. The Animal Welfare League strives to: prevent cruelty to animals, provide quality homes for animals through their adoption program, promote respect and compassion for all creatures through education, provide shelter and care for homeless and unwanted animals, reduce pet overpopulation through their low cost spay/neuter clinic, provide veterinary care for low income pet owners, and relieve the suffering of all animals. Cache Creek Animal Rescue Cache Creek Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit 501C3 charity organization dedicated to rescuing stray and abandoned animals. We are located in Union County, IL and we rescue animals in 11 counties throughout southern Illinois. We have 150+ animals in our shelter at any time. We transport these animals to the Chicagoland region for adoption. We recently opened a new adoption center in Joliet where animals can also be viewed for adoption. All our dogs and cats are fully tested and vetted, spayed and neutered, and microchipped before they are adopted. Tiny N Tall Rescue Inc. ​Tiny N Tall Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non for profit organization comprised of volunteers dedicated to providing temporary shelter, veterinary care and behavioral support for small and giant breed dogs as they transition into carefully selected homes. They rescue Tiny breeds under 25 pounds and Giant breeds. Their rescue is all foster based and rely solely on donations.
