The Animal Welfare League strives to: prevent cruelty to animals, provide quality homes for animals through their adoption program, promote respect and compassion for all creatures through education, provide shelter and care for homeless and unwanted animals, reduce pet overpopulation through their low cost spay/neuter clinic, provide veterinary care for low income pet owners, and relieve the suffering of all animals. The Animal Welfare League is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that receives no city, state or federal funding and relies on private donations to continue with its mission of helping all animals.
