  Excellent Dinner on a Rainy Night

  We were in the area and the rain caught us by surprise - traveling with a dog usually means sitting outside with little more than an umbrella on the table to shield you. Until we stopped at the Publyk House and saw outdoor table under an awning against the building. It was a perfect location, the service couldn't have been any better, and the food was delicious. We really appreciated the thoughtful setup that allowed for outdoor dining in poor weather.

  Accommodating

  We had been traveling all day and I was searching for dog friendly places in the area. It was cold and rainy but we wanted to find somewhere to eat outside because we had our dog with us. I called ahead to make sure this was even a possibility because of the weather. The hostess said she would set up a table for us and we were welcome to dine outside. They have a big patio but a small portion is covered so they had our table ready for us under the roof when we got there. We were the only ones dining outside because the weather was far from ideal and they still sent a waitress out for us and were very accommodating!

  Lovely meal on the covered patio, watched the rainstorm go by, great food and super-friendly staff! Will be back!

  Fantastic Experience!!!

  We just loved the Publyk House!!! The setting is beautiful, the food is outstanding, the service is extraordinary AND they allow dogs on the deck!!! What more could you ask for??? Actually, between my sister and I there were 4 dogs and they were very accommodating - so many of the staff stopped and the dogs love the attention!

  A Wonderful Experience

  After travelling all day, my family and I found this tavern-style restaurant where we could enjoy a relaxing dinner but still take our dog, being that we could not leave him alone. This place was perfect! Their deck accommodates pets and even though the weather was not cooperating, they made a place under the canopy for us. The food and service was excellent and you could tell they are dog lovers, they were so friendly.
