We had a great stay at The Shire Wododstock with our dog! Our room was on the lower level in the back facing the river which was perfect for our dog to not be distracted with the traffic etc out front! The room was very clean and nice. The back looks out on the river and there are many places to sit and relax at picnic tables, chairs or around the fire pit. I would definitely stay here again!

We just returned from a stay in Bennington. We found this restaurant on the app as we were looking for somewhere to dine outside with our dog. We were able to get a table on the outside deck overlooking the beautiful mountains. From the minute we got there we were greeted and waited in immediately. Our dog was offered treats and a bowl of water! We had a delicious meal while our dog laid next to us. Many of the staff came out to talk to the dog. We felt so welcomed!

So happy I stumbled upon this hotel for an overnight stay while we were in the Bennington area searching out waterfalls! Perfect location! Very clean! Staff very friendly! Loved the location for our dog to walk around! Small motel with 8 rooms but all done very nicely. We had everything we needed without staying in a large hotel chain with so many distractions for the dog!
